(snip)Thursday evening, 200 fans lucky enough to have secured tickets filled the second floor of An Unlikely Story Bookstore & Cafe to hear the former first daughter read her book and ask questions. Another 900 people waited patiently for the end of the program to have their copies signed.(snip)
Throughout the evening, Clinton reiterated the book's theme. "Persistence is needed for girls who have aimed high and been told to step down, who have raised their voices and been told to quiet down and those who have been told to have smaller dreams," she said.
On a personal note, Clinton sees as her most important role as mom to her children Charlotte and Aiden. "Beyond this joyous gift, I use my platform to amplify voices and organizations that are doing the work for all children whether it's protecting them or empowering."
When asked by a young audience member if she felt overwhelmed or excited when her father became president, Clinton responded with a laugh, "Yes and yes." She pointed out that her parents not only protected her but helped her realize how blessed and privileged she was. "I lived in the governor's mansion in Arkansas and the White House, I went to great schools in Little Rock and in Washington. I never had to worry about having food on the table or a safe place to play and there were profoundly interesting opportunities such as meeting Nelson Mandela and developing a relationship with him."

When talking about Chelsea, there are guidelines:
Crowd = 4-8 prematurely grey haired lesbians
Wows the crowd = Held off on changing their Depends.
Developed a relationship = Bought into his commie bull$it.
“Persistence is needed for girls who have aimed high”
Those girls lucky enough to have been born.
Calling sour baloney on this.
Nobody these days would dare tell an aspiring girl to sit down or shut up. Girls are free to dream, excel and even be criminal or very horrible people without restraint. Chelsea is creating a straw man, just like The Man whom everyone blames for keeping them from their pot of gold.
So, how big of a “crowd” can you get into your library? ;-)
Any buses nearby?
I thought she “wowed” everyone after proving she could actually read. No doubt one of the ugliest women around, she has to keep her ugly mush on camera as she prepares for “her turn” in the political world. God help us all should she ever get elected honestly or legally.
Man, the Left sure are fond of people born into wealth and privilege who have never had to work a day in their lives.
The “easily amused” short buses were packed with paid attendees.
Billary, Inc. still trying to extend their dynasty.
Personally, if I were a dictator that still allowed elections for everything else, I’d ban all political dynasties and not even allow my successor to come from my family.
They - political dynasties, are not a family’s “calling for public service”; they are a family business.
“Persistence is needed for girls who have aimed high and been told to step down”...
Monica aimed high, but never quite made it above the beltline of the s(l)ick one.
They are really pimping this dullard to the hilt... Do they think this sort of crap makes this nincompoop seem... what? Smart? Electable?
Sycophants are easily wowed.
A face only a mother can love.
It’s about 13,000 s.f. of gross building area and even with the non-public spaces, racks and assorted other library-typical impediments, probably a couple of hundred comfortably. The kids who work there are usually very nice and competent. And no tats or metals in the faces, surprisingly.
DADDY!!!
Naaw, more like Webb Hubbell.......
They, the "Dems", have the advantage in that they own the useful idiots, and regardless of the shallow pool of competent, and hopefully honest people, that leaves the offspring of the Kennedys, Clintons, Cuomo-Kennedys, and the stepdaughter of Bernie, free to grasp at continuing to feed at the public trough and shaking down the public and private entities.
Hey Chelsea, amplify this..........
To be able to see someone on International Women's Day who is lifting women up is just stunning," said Kathy Schlecht a North Attleboro resident and adjustment counselor at the Studley Elementary School and the Brennan Middle School in Attleboro.
"We need to start young and give children a vision, a voice and supporting their spirit."
What a load of New Age claptrap. How is the spoiled, vapid Chelsea Clinton lifting anyone up?
Schlecht means 'terrible' in German. How apropos.
A glance at Kathy's Facebook page reveals she is...DRUM ROLL..a lesbian. In charge of 'adjustment' for young children. But remember...they don't recruit.
Here's some Kathy photos:
As the meme says, lesbians ain't like it is in the movies.
Marie Carey of Plainville brought her daughter Alexis Marie, a boisterous 6- year-old who was excited to share that she had read the book earlier in the day. "I loved it, especially the ballerina part. I want to be a ballerina, a gymnast and a soccer player." Added her mother, "I really love my daughter getting any exposure she can to strong, smart women."
Boisterous = ill-behaved, ill-disciplined and hyperactive.
What is with parents who cede their status as role models to third parties? It's the ultimate in laziness and irresponsibility.
