(snip)Thursday evening, 200 fans lucky enough to have secured tickets filled the second floor of An Unlikely Story Bookstore & Cafe to hear the former first daughter read her book and ask questions. Another 900 people waited patiently for the end of the program to have their copies signed.(snip)
Throughout the evening, Clinton reiterated the book's theme. "Persistence is needed for girls who have aimed high and been told to step down, who have raised their voices and been told to quiet down and those who have been told to have smaller dreams," she said.
On a personal note, Clinton sees as her most important role as mom to her children Charlotte and Aiden. "Beyond this joyous gift, I use my platform to amplify voices and organizations that are doing the work for all children whether it's protecting them or empowering."
When asked by a young audience member if she felt overwhelmed or excited when her father became president, Clinton responded with a laugh, "Yes and yes." She pointed out that her parents not only protected her but helped her realize how blessed and privileged she was. "I lived in the governor's mansion in Arkansas and the White House, I went to great schools in Little Rock and in Washington. I never had to worry about having food on the table or a safe place to play and there were profoundly interesting opportunities such as meeting Nelson Mandela and developing a relationship with him."

And what universe does she live in. She should look at college enrollment and graduating rates, and graduate school demographics based on gender.
Oh yeah and of course there is that little shut up and put some ice on it family moment
The headline makes it sound like she was doing a magic act at the place.
She is going to be the heir apparent for the next generation. And the thought of it makes me really nauseous.
Even her mother got where she got by marrying Bill Clinton-——she got NOTHING on her own except a law degree.

Senate investigator - Chelsea, did you launder money through the Clinton Foundation
Chelsea - You mean like through a washing machine, or something???
Only in plainville could a half-wit mutt like Chelsea wow anybody.
“The person she bragged about meeting, Nelson Mandela, was a mass murderer.”
No sh*t. I’ve said that to many people multiple times in my life and they think Im racist. HE’S racist. Always hated whitey and a commie bastard. It was the left that elevated him to sainthood when he did close to nothing except wallow in jail. There were longer sentences for Americans in jail that were not supposed to be.
Isn't that what they are doing to boys now?
Nope Webb Hubble
last time i saw a mouth like that it had a hook in it
“...girls who have aimed high and been told to step down, who have raised their voices and been told to quiet down and those who have been told to have smaller dreams,” she said.”
Shut up and sit down young hag.
Was anyone paid to be there as part of her audience?
Were they promised anything nice?
There’s still a few around. My local one is named “Public Library” and the books are free but you have to return them in 21 days. There’s lots of free parking and it’s safer than going to the Mall or the nearest upscale strip center. I get a receipt for the books I “buy” including the date they are due back on the shelf. This store also has a sense of humor because alongside every book title on my receipt is the cover retail price of the book. A little reminder of how much you save.
“to hear the former first daughter read her book and ask questions.”
How did you feel, Chelsea, when you mom told you on 9-11-2012 that the Benghazi attack was a terrorist attack and not a spontaneous event as her flunkies were telling the global media for weeks?
“to hear the former first daughter read her book and ask questions.”
How did you feel, Chelsea, having your wedding paid for in part by charitable funds from the Clinton Crime Syndicate Foundation?
The crowds were amazed at her teeth, how ugly she is or both?
“...to hear the former first daughter read her book and ask questions.”
Why would they pay to hear her ask questions?
Did that little girl pull of the Hillary doll’s arms?
“Maybe Nelson was giving her tips on how to get rid of bodies and stuff.”
Wonder if he mentioned ‘necklacing’ during their relationship?
