The whole Bronco chase and trial was one of those where “were you at” times like JFK’s assassination. We had just remodeled the house and I was in the process of getting the house in order so had the tv on in the background during the trial.
One of the greatest moments in TV History....

It is true you remember where you were when that bronco chase was happening. I was only a few miles north, eating Popeye chicken with my dad while OJ headed home in the slow chase.
And that trial lasted at least a year, right? It permeated even the preschoolers. My son was 3 and he knew all the Simsims (his pronunciation of the Simpsons): “Homer, Lisa, Marge, Bart, and OJ.” He also liked eating burgers at fries at a local chain “Johnny Cochran’s.” (Johnny Rocket’s).
