Of course, she will. She already drew flak when appointed CIA deputy, the flak coming from the other side which is to me a good metric. She was apparently in the loop or in charge of some waterboarding of some really bad guys when she ran a black site for the CIA. That, and she got rid of some video tapes of the “enhanced interrogation” which I like to think was a tactic to keep that stuff from falling into the hands of the media. We’d still be hearing/seeing baloney about that.

I find it quite fascinating. Yes the woman card will probably help. She’s been there a long time. Knows stuff.

Since she's Deputy CIA director already, she will be "acting" director until confirmation and can hit the ground running. Maybe she can "act" for seven years if the Dems don't like her.
