The error is divide by zero.
If a + b = c, then a + b - c = 0
4(a + b - c) = 3(a + b - c) is true. It is 4*0 = 3*0, or 0=0

The error is divide by zero. Not exactly. It's the order of solving an algebraic equation error. You do what is inside the parentheses first which then makes everything clear. Then the algebra makes the equation work correctly, as 0=0. You don't need to divide by anything, just follow the rules of math.
