You are, of course correct. 1/3 </> to 0.3333...
1/3 is a fraction (portion) of a whole, the ratio being 1:3 and 2:3 (one-of-three and two-of-three), making a whole three-of-three).
I think I learned ratio in 3rd grade (or was that 0.333333333 grade?)
It reminds me of why liberal thinking doesn't work.
There is an error, but it is hard to detect.
