Well now there ya go.
Another interesting take you have there. Kinda leaning your way on this now.
On the surface there are at least minor disconnects of message between Trump and Tillerson. My impression has been that Tillerson did a decent job of explaining or getting around the appearance of difference of opinion. I bet Tillerson was deliberately kept out of the loop on NK discussions - IOW, from Trump's point of view, this is not sudden. This has been deliberated carefully.
Haspel ran a "black site" CIA prison located in Thailand in 2002.[4][5] The site was codenamed "Cats Eye" and held suspected al Qaeda members Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri and Abu Zubaydah for a time. The Senate Intelligence Committee report on CIA torture specifies that during their detention at the site they were waterboarded and interrogated using no longer authorized methods.
Does she and Pompeo need Senate approval again?
Every Trump tweet is followed by a rash of insulting replies.

LOL, that site is twitter. I just clicked on it, and the tweet that I posted appears at the top, 24m old.

It does not show any tweet that POTUS is not retweeting.
Just makes for increased peace of mind.”

It’s the first one on the link, 23 minutes ago..
I just heard Tillerson is being replaced.
Yes, but there is plenty of time. Gina Haspel will run into a buzz saw, but Pompeo was easily confirmed for CIA, so should slide into SoS okay. If the Senate drags its feet, no real problem.
And who knows, maybe another shuffle in the near future - depends on how the new players fill their new roles.
Also, obviously State Dept. was out of the loop regarding North Korea. For a reason, I’m sure. Old Rex probably didnt like that much. Trump has no patience for the machinations of that bloated bureaucracy. He’d rather do it himself. Also, maybe the guy wasn’t draining the State swamp fast enough. Either way, I like it.
Well, thank you EMI. :)
I'm fine with the shuffle - I trust Trump on matters with this much weight.
“Gina just might be the man for the job.”
Oooo she sure does! Sounds like my kinda gal ;)
A female from the ranks, too. These personnel swap-outs sure will have MSM tongues wagging along with gnashing of teeth for three weeks.
In the meantime, Trump’s still at the controls of the street sweeper unnoticed.
also 672. Personal attacks?
Since conditions appear to be at a critical juncture, I don’t think dissent right now is a good situation. It is time to get someone different alright.
Yep. March Madness anyone?
No diplomacy. Straight to use of force until NK agrees to terms, "denuclearize." Discussions carried out through CinC/military channels. Don't share with Foggy Bottom in order to minimize risk of leaks.
Real world trumps conventional practice.
you just shot the wind out of my saddle..next you’re probably going to call me when I mix metaphors.
I find it more interesting that Trump felt the need to put the head of the CIA over the State Department.
Maybe the "woman card" will keep the hounds at bay. At first glance, she sounds like a "good guy" and may be just what is needed to get the clowns back into the clown car.
Remember Q saying in reponse to this?
I'm so glad Cohn is out, I never liked/trust his globalist arse!

More coming.
Keep your

I thought at the time he was talking about more CEOs resigning. Maybe not.
Same here, Lady Heron.

Pompeo has extensive foreign intelligence expertise. Pompeo close to Trump. China (intellectual theft).
My 2¢
