Also, obviously State Dept. was out of the loop regarding North Korea. For a reason, I’m sure. Old Rex probably didnt like that much. Trump has no patience for the machinations of that bloated bureaucracy. He’d rather do it himself. Also, maybe the guy wasn’t draining the State swamp fast enough. Either way, I like it.

I think Tillerson was doing a good job at gutting State department. Maybe he was hired to be hatchet man, now time to calm the place.

I'm fine with the shuffle - I trust Trump on matters with this much weight.

Since conditions appear to be at a critical juncture, I don’t think dissent right now is a good situation. It is time to get someone different alright.

No diplomacy. Straight to use of force until NK agrees to terms, "denuclearize." Discussions carried out through CinC/military channels. Don't share with Foggy Bottom in order to minimize risk of leaks.

Real world trumps conventional practice.
