Someone with actual singing talent is singing ... I can’t believe it.
Are they going to cram 14 singers into one night?
First up is Caleb playing a banjo. I don't know this song, but it's entertaining. And it's refreshing to see/hear someone sing who doesn't have an agenda (or a strange bulge).
Katy: I'm so proud of you at your evolution. You believe in yourself so much obviously.
Luke: So inspring. I'm not crazy excited by song choice.
Lionel: I know exactly happened. The girls started screaming and you forgot the song.
She's far from home, she reminds us, far from Veena-Swayala.
She proceeds to sing a song with like lyrics like OOOH AAAHH OH!
Luke: You became a pop star tonight. We need a big ol' pop star on this show.
Lionel: You gave us attitude, attitude, attitude.
Katy: (Cautions her to sing to the people at home, not to Ferlies in the audience who are being paid to be there)
Further evidence she's full of herself. She explains she relates to the song because she recently found out a friend of hers was really in love with her (hold me, Ryan)

Next up is Baby Daddy/Uncle. For once he doesn't mention his Baby/Nephew.
Sings a Motown kinda song. But if it is, I don't recognize it. It's okay.
Katy: You're inspiring so many people back home. Stop thinking about what the results are and just sing.
Lionel: You're becoming so confident you're almost outta control. You're on fire, my friend.
Luke: I wasn't all the way sold on the song, (but he liked it)
Just noticed, no mentors this week. Good.
Sings "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman. Sounds like a cheesy Idol single.
Katy: I feel like you've come a long way. Owning the stage. Saw some new things. Amazing. I think you really didn't arrive vocally until the middle of the song.
Luke: You have taken us on some pretty emotional rides. I wasn't entirely invested emotionally in that performance.
Lionel: At 16 years old, I was just another round-eyed black man. Now I'm an Asian senior citizen who liked that performance.
I was going to say this sounds like a Phillip Phillips song--and it is. "Raging Fire".
Luke: That was a very dynamic performance. Pitchy. Took us on a ride. First performer that looked comfortable tonight.
Lionel: Stay in character. Doing so well.
Katy: I actually believed you're comfortable up there. You're doing great, honey.
