Love, Simon is a film of important milestones. Namely, its the first mainstream studio romantic comedy told from the perspective of a gay teen. But perhaps the most extraordinary thing about the Fox release is that its so ordinary. Its a classic high school tale one that minted millions for John Hughes set in the kind of anywhere suburbia that most viewers will instantly recognize. Its a fluffier kind of polemic.
Still, the historic nature of Love, Simon was front of mind at a tastemaker screening at New York Citys Landmark at 57 West on Thursday night.
Moviegoers want to see their stories represented onscreen, said Nick Robinson, who plays the title character, a well-liked teenager who is hiding the fact that hes gay. Hopefully, this is not the last. Hopefully, this is the first of many films that show a broader section of life.

Saw the trailer for this tonight. Garbage.
Hugh Jackman as PT Barnum as “The Greatest Showman” was excellent, though.
homosexuality kills civilization. homosexuals do not reproduce.
Darwin
Christians and Jews valued children. Infanticide by exposure was common among Romans who were not Christians or Jews.
Pre-Christian Romans did not see people as “homosexual” or Heterosexual. They saw them as dominant or not. Men were dominant and had sex with anyone or anything they desired at the moment.
Sex with animals, boys, men and pre-pubescent girls was common and not considered a moral issue. The question was weather the sex object had power or not.
Christians and Jews valued children, believed homosexuality and bestiality were sinful, and their populations were the only ones growing in Roman cities.
The world has been here before, this time I dont think there will be even one righteous man in the city to convince god to spare us.
Bringing more people into the homosexual death cult will not save lives, it will do just the opposite. A life of misery, pain and early death.
While we’re on the subject of the venerable R. Kipling...
The Wrath of the Awakened Saxon
It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.
They were not easily moved,
They were icy — willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.
Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.
It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.
It was not suddently bred.
It will not swiftly abate.
Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.
“But perhaps the most extraordinary thing about the Fox release is that its so ordinary. Its a classic high school tale”
Of course, homosexuals youths have always been as ordinarily American as apple pie. What sick garbage.
All gay, all the time!
Good grief the homo movement is totally obnoxious!!
Did you watch “The Greatest American Hero”?
The are doing a remake with a hot Indian chick in the lead role. Weird.
I’ve never seen it, I only know it from this

“They keep shoving this stuff down our throats, year after year.
If it all ever hits the fan, there will be a lot of house cleaning to do, and many scores to settle.”
I don’t think they have anything to worry about. If our side hasn’t been moved to do squat with all the shit they’ve already thrown at us, what makes you think anything else they might do will get us off our asses?
Yup, I watched that show back when it was in prime time. I remember about the time doing drama class having to perform to its theme song. :-P
I read an article once that people with HIV die 14 years early, plus they’re subject to neurological disorders, and get dementia often. Can’t find the link anymore. I assume the Gaystapo disappeared the info.
It’s a great date movie. < /s >
Men can go to the screenings and meet boys who walk the walk.

what makes you think anything else they might do will get us off our asses?”
For the same reason that England had to get off her ass in the late 30s...
“For the same reason that England had to get off her ass in the late 30s...”
So tell me, what exactly would that moment be for the culture war we’re in?
Not sad for the Loyola Ramblers!
Northeast basketball ... another year with Villanova as its best and, possibly, only hope
Christianity is currently seriously being cast as a hate screed/mental disorder. They only need to have a little more success in doing this for us to be there.
