I had that happen once, and had to get a new oven. It took a while to save some money, find a decent price, and get the delivery set up - it was for the basement apartment, so had to be ordered by the store.
Anyway, I wanted some biscuits and a chocolate cake really bad. So I took the blue granite ware stockpot, put a lb of cheap salt in the bottom. Put 3 canning rings in bottom for trivit.
Put stuff in cake pan with another turned upside down. Top with the lid. This makes an oven on the stove top. Method is used in 3rd world countries. I have also used it on my rocket stove for testing for electrical outages.
I was going to buy a toaster oven from the thrift store but wouldn't you know it as soon as this happened they were all gone.
I finally remembered the NuWave that I haven't used in a couple of years. I'll roast a chicken in there for Sunday dinner. I've got a hankering for biscuits. Maybe I can do some of those in it. I cooked a little frozen pizza in it for my daughter and some canned corned beef hash.
