Tom Horm draws the conenction between the nephilim and the legends of ancient cultures. These include Greek and Roman "gods", Mayan and Aztec "gods", the titans, and mythological creatures like sasquatch, the yeti, and others I can't remember off the top of my head. It's been several years since I read it. I don't remember if he connects the dots to European bloodlines. It was an interesting book. More about it here
