Indeed. Most applications have no safety ramification whatsoever. Those that do have a safety ramification generally have substantial "safety factor" and often independent means of providing the safety function.
-- Every project that is slated to use that sh|t steel is now suspect. --
... the data falsification scandal, which primarily involved employees saying incorrectly that products met the company's own lofty safety claims. Customers like Toyota and Honda have said they have not found any safety issues related to the company's products.
As I said at the outset, the devil is in the details. What exactly is amiss? The beverage can makers reported no issues.

KIEV, Ukraine There comes a time in the life of an oligarch when spending money becomes more important than making it. And for Victor Pinchuk, the controversial oligarch and Ukraines second-richest man after Rinat Akhmetov, that time is now.
At his invitation, Paul McCartney recently performed before 350,000 exultant Ukrainians in Independence Square in Kiev during a thundering rainstorm. This is for Ukrainya, Mr. Pinchuk yelled after the performance in June.
It may have been, but the concert, which cost Mr. Pinchuk more than $5 million, was also the latest, most lavish stage for his own uneven metamorphosis from grasping, post-Soviet oligarch to international mover and shaker. Now, he calls the likes of the financier George Soros and former President Bill Clinton friends.
For Mr. Pinchuk, and many of his contemporaries in neighboring Russia, the prizes they extracted from the ashes of the Soviet Union were a function of brute political calculation and ruthless business practice.
But in an interconnected world, success is measured not only by the size of their fortunes but also by their ability to use their billions to achieve recognition and influence far beyond the grimy precincts of their industrial triumphs.
In Russia, billionaire oligarchs like Roman A. Abramovich and Oleg V. Deripaska have taken steps to present themselves as acceptable international figures. Mr. Abramovich has invested millions in art and soccer, while Mr. Deripaska met with Senator John McCain in 2006. But few, if any, have been as bluntly aggressive in using art, philanthropy, public policy and even rock n roll to advance their agendas as Mr. Pinchuk.
What I am doing is not about image, said Mr. Pinchuk, 47. I just want to participate in the building of my country.
He is engaged in a level of philanthropy unparalleled in Ukraine, mixed with supercharged celebrity hobnobbing. He is one of the larger non-American donors to the foundation established by Mr. Clinton, and has bankrolled a substantial AIDS awareness initiative in Ukraine. He is equally at home enjoying a night out with Elton John or a private showing of Jeff Koonss latest sculptures.
To sustain his quixotic dream of securing Ukraines entry into the European Union, he has financed programs in Washington at the Brookings Institution and the Peterson Institute. And he lured George H. W. Bush, Mr. Clinton, Karl Rove and Tony Blair to give speeches in Yalta to support the cause.
Gosh... I am a bit of a Qanon lurker - I let you guys do all the plowing, I harvest all the crop. :^) {Mostly due to my age... hours spent putting my socks on. :^/ } It is a lot to ingest... heaven only knows if it all means much of anything. Hope springs eternal!
an added addition to the previous post . . .March 15 . . . Ides of March
For the lurkers who skipped class that day and lazy (no time) to review, from Wikipedia. . . . . . /s
Ides of March refers to . . .
. . . is a day on the Roman calendar that corresponds to March 15. It was marked by several religious observances and was notable for the Romans as a deadline for settling debts[2]. In 44 BC, it became notorious as the date of the assassination of Julius Caesar. The death of Caesar made the Ides of March a turning point in Roman history, as one of the events that marked the transition from the historical period known as the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire.
Too good to be true? Martha, more popcorn please.
The damage and intended damage is more long term through reduction in capacity and know-how. Generally making the country dependent, rather than independent. Flow of capital can be used to obtain that net effect.
Steelmaking is a fundamental industry. It takes substantial time to build, and will atrophy if not exercised.
You are amazing!

I always make time for Q.
“Do you know what Ukraine is? It’s a sitting duck, a road apple, Newman; Ukraine is weeeak, it’s feeble, I think it is time to put the hurt on Ukraine...”
I listen to them sometimes. Thanks!
Non-representative samples? Never heard of such of thing
LOL
Q’s comments on that post make me wonder if they have someone who will validate the video. Someone who is a ‘whistleblower’ that has not ‘Arkancided’ themselves yet.
A day we will all be looking forward to !
Are the marks //\\ indicative of the "bridge is up" or the "bridge is open"?
I took the marks to signify a nuclear missile or weapon per the Clancy novel "Sum of all Fears."
The title is a reference to nuclear war and to the plot by the novel's antagonists to reconstruct a lost nuclear weapon. The title comes from a Winston Churchill quote serving as the first of the novel's two epigraphs:
"Why, you may take the most gallant sailor, the most intrepid airman or the most audacious soldier, put them at a table togetherwhat do you get? The sum of their fears.

This would be a difficult thing to release to the American public.
1. I don’t see how any such video could possibly be released to the public because it is child porn. Anyone who released it or hosted it on his website or showed it on tv would be guilty of a felony.
2. The public would be absolutely revolted by such a thing and find it difficult to believe that it’s true. Everyone on the left would try to claim it did not exist or that it was fake. (That’s one huge reason why the left is pushing the “fake news” meme. To get the public ready to disbelieve things like this.)
