So I was at work today and a customer said he found pictures of Trump for sale. I said that I didn't know we had those available (clueless). He said, "Yeah, they were in the BATHROOM surrounded by a horseshoe frame." I said, "So, you are not a fan." He said that he wasn't a fan and that he had "the guy in the back" cracking up about his hilarious description of how his rump was exposed to Trump. I said, "Well, I guess no one loves everyone all of the time."
What I wanted to say was, "Hey, you inbred poc, I just dropped off an obama in the bathroom and everyone thought THAT was hilarious! But, hey, I'm at work so I can't tell you what I think so I REALLY don't give a @#$% what you think because I can't say what I think BACK AT YOU.
Isn't there some movie out about how one day a year you can say what you really think??? If there isn't, there needs to be one. Or on the last day before retirement I can really just say what I want, right?

I wouldn’t last 5 minutes at a job like that. I’d tell him the photos of Zero, the Butcheress of Benghazi and the other Communist scum are kept inside the toilets.

It is REALLY REALLY bad here in California because they all are 100% convinced there are zero Trump supporters in California. They openly speak vitriol and disgust and filth. None of it is ever supported with specific credible evidence. Just “Our POS president.” I hear it on the streets, I hear it in my hiking groups, I hear it on my birding expeditions, I hear it in restaurants.
It just galls me that we never bad mouthed that bastard Obama in public (though we did bash him endlessly here on FR), but they think they have the right to express their hideous opinions everywhere.
We are buying a second house in the panhandle of Idaho and this is actually one of the reasons we are doing it.

To be fair, there were several customers who bad mouthed zero at my place of employment while he was in in office. Basically, it was about obamacare which I deal with in my employment. I did not, however, jump in and agree with the disparagement (no matter how much I did agree) because I am a professional.
To expand on your point, though, who does that?? Whether in Cali or wherever, what gives you the right to go into an establishment and spread your partisan vitriol? The other customers don’t want to hear it, and certainly the fettered workers who can’t respond certainly couldn’t care less about your political opinion.
This guy thought WAY too much of himself and got WAY too much amusement out of his “jokes”.

My boss is very conservative (thankfully) and really, overall, we haven’t had anyone who was overtly liberal try to disrupt the workplace.
There is no reason whatsoever to be a jerk and say the things this guy said today. In business transactions, it’s basically considered polite to just be nice and do transactions as adults.
When this guy began his hilarious routine today, I wanted to roll my eyes so bad and tell him that he was an idiot, but I could not because I would be fired. The guy knew he was in a situation where he could say whatever sh#t he wanted and get away with it, proving he was a d#ck.
To me, that’s aggressive and disgusting.
Seriously, if a customer said the same thing about zero I would probably think the person was an inbred low life gross poc, the same thing I thought about this guy. Because, who says this crap to an employee at a place of business?? Do these people seriously think that an employee wants to hear your political opinion? Especially when they cannot honestly respond to your stupid opinion?
I think zero is a toilet bowl inhabitant, but I wouldn’t say that to someone at a counter I was doing business with, right? What gives this random guy the idea that I want to hear his political rantings when I am at work and can’t escape or respond?

Yes, we really worry about that. It’s happening in Texas. It happened in NM. It happened in CO. It’s happening in AZ. It happened in WA and OR. It is happening in WY, particularly at Jackson. It is happening all over the once-free West. Idaho still seems to be at the end of the earth as far as liberals are concerned and somewhat off the beaten track.
Idaho is the seventh most conservative state (I was very surprised to learn it is not in the top 3 most conservative). The Californians have moved into Ketchum / Sun Valley and have made Blaine County a Democrat stronghold in the state.
My wife and I are doing our part to dispel the myth of the “insane libs from California ruining our state.” I don’t think it will happen in our remaining time on God’s Green Earth (probably 20 years if we are lucky).
Just sigh and say there has been potty humor about every President for as long as you can remember and that you just try to respect the office even if you don’t respect the man, and leave him to figure out who you meant.

I live in IL—DuPage County— used to be one of themost Republican Counties in the Country...It went to Hillary past election due to influx of Chicago dems—I don’t think it was a grand plan—just people looking for a better place to raise a family after they screw up the city ;(. My Congresscritter is supposedly a conservative—so he says, but I think he is a moderate at best.
