Actually we are not turning into an sholes- there is a segment of the population that is advocating for that appellation.

Ditto! It is like the military, no matter how you may feel about the person you always respect the rank, the uniform, and position an never publicly say or do anything to disrepect it. This kind of respect is something our public lack-of-education school system along with the commie media in this country has destroyed. That is unless a democrate wins office and suddenly any criticism of the office will once again be unacceptable. The bias has become sickening.
No disrespect to either you or your grandmother, but some of the Presidents of her time (and mine) should have been disparaged a little. Or at least mocked frequently.
