Fahrenheit 451 is based on Ray Bradbury's classic novel. In a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and "firemen" burn books, Jordan plays Guy Montag, a young fireman who struggles with his role as law enforcer and with his "mentor", played by Shannon. Premieres Spring 2018 on HBO.

Yup. Some real goodscenes with her. Stuff you can’t get from just reading the book.
The director for the new show is also Iranian. I guess she was a shoe-in.
Exactly. Shannon is a GOP and Trump-hating asshole. F him.
That new Dr. Smith is hot!
I might even watch an episode or two.
He’s one of the few actors I won’t watch. His comments were despicable.
Oh the pain. the Pain.
Yes, she was also in that horrid Mummy remake. Dr. Smith always remind me of Charles Nelson Reilly from Lidsville
Speaking of Michael B. Jordan, Black Panther has faded fast this week at the box office.
On Day 14, Panther is now $30 million behind Last Jedi in the North America market - $435 million to $465 million.
Internationally, Panther also seems to be trailing Last Jedi, but it’s harder to tell because I can’t find daily international totals for Last Jedi.
Also, Last Jedi did quite poorly internationally because younger audiences did not understand the relationships between the old characters and the new ones, plus foreign movie fans can’t relate to all the Social Justice and diversity and gender crap that American films have now.
No kidding
I need to go back and watch him get killed in Boardwalk Empire again for fun
Bless the Beasts and the Children
A hippie movie approaching Billy Jack with hamfisted polemics against injustice to kids at camp and of course buffalos
Mummy was in it
He got in trouble a bit then for weed mostly I think
Scandalous back then
Also the outstanding Austrian actor, Oskar Werner.
Werner acted in some really excellent films - Ship of Fools (nominated Best Actor), Jules and Jim (French - Directed by Francois Truffaut), The Spy Who Came In From The Cold (with Richard Burton and Claire Bloom).
It's a friggin' novelette, and you couldn't finish it?
At last resort, I just turned to the final chapters and prolouge to see what happened.
There is no "Prologue" (perhaps you mean "Epilogue?"), though there is an "Afterward."
Regards,
It was a "kids' film" - it didn't focus on "minorities" being "oppressed" by "The Man," rather, it was about troubled teens and their neglectful parents - so I cut it some slack.
Bill Mumy (pronounced "MOO-mee") acquitted himself well in it (I think that it might have been his "break-out role" with respect to playing something other than just nice, clean-cut youths*).
Regards,
*Except for his role as "Anthony" in Twilight Zone's "It's a Good Life."
That's "shoo-in."
Regards,
In the 2018 version, is there a gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, tranny, m*slim and Black? Are the Whites depicted as evil? Is Christianity absent, replaced by *slam?
when Oprah said shed run for president if God told her too, Id love to ask her- which god? What is the name of your god? Watch her stutter and squirm.
