Thank you. I had a total of 7 ancestors that fought in the Revolutionary War (one was a British soldier, but don’t tell anyone).

Look to Twitter:
Exactly this: "My fellow Americans, the Storm is upon us......."
God bless.

I think they do not like the salt.
Salt water would probably kill a lot tyhat’s not used to it.

We’re up to four inches from the looks of it, so far.
And the winds haven’t kicked up yet. that should be starting soon. Drifting and packing in the snow.

On our deck’s railing it looks like 8 inches. It’s not the amount, it’s the weight. It’s extremely heavy.

Right now we’ve received 11 inches with more coming.
It’s very heavy. Tree an fir branches are arcs now.
Power keeps going on and off.
To: lysie
Mr. mm also reports that it’s very heavy.

Where do you live, just in a general area?
Don’t need the specific town.
East of Syracuse? It looks like they are getting hit harder than west of Syracuse. The radar shows it fairly light west of Syracuse, but the storm seems to be inching westward.
There’s a very heavy area over the Schenectady/Albany area and it’s slowly heading towards Utica.

Major storm hitting rural Eastern California and Western Nevada tonight and tomorrow too, whiteout, blizzard conditions, and several feet of snow making travel extremely dangerous, but no one cares because the MSN is hundreds of miles away from here. No news person, except local, ever reports on our storms even though 11 feet fell one year during a single storm. Not a word out of ABC News. Yet they must have gotten wind of it:

Been kind of windy but they are forecast to peak later this afternoon.

"Where do you live, just in a general area?"Not too far from Windham, Greene County.
Power went out at 8:30 am and am boiling snow to warm up with the steam. Saving my laptop battery as much as possible.
So far we've received 35 inches with more incoming! I gave up shoveling as the wind is picking up now.
Hope everyone is doing fine!
