Repeal the 22nd Amendment so Donald J. Trump can do more than two terms as President
There is so much corruption in Washington right now, in almost every department and it is going to take more than 8 years to "drain the swamp". Donald J. Trump has proven time and time again, he is the best man for the job. Therefore we the people demand an exception be made, repeal the 22nd Amendment temporarily so Donald J. Trump can end corruption in Washington, whether it takes 3 terms or 5 terms, Donald J. Trump is a man who gets things done. Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Democrat, served 4 terms, surely the same can be allowed for a Republican to save the country.

This used to be a place where we wanted term limits. My the people are fickle. Just like the dems smart enough to know why we have an electoral college..... face palm activate.
it makes sense the electorate should be able to elect anyone qualified for the office. But if we must have terms limits, why let the Congresscritters off?
Nah. As much as I love Newt, there are too many conservatives who think he is Satan-Lite.
Noooo!
Need term limits on congress and senate.
1 term senate.
2 terms congress.
Instead of the uniparty Congress having to steal state powers so that it can oppress the states with their own powers, Congress lets corrupt presidents do their dirty work for them.
"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
Lawmakers do this by simply letting second term presidents get away with stealing state powers, and then exercising those powers by camouflaging them as constitutionally undefined executive orders imo.
Obama open mic slip: 'After my election I have more flexibility'
After all, by letting presidents do their dirty work for them, lawmakers are able to keep their voting records clean.
And by keeping their voting records clean, career lawmakers are able to fool low-information patriots, patriots who have probably never been taught about the feds limited powers as the Founding States had intended for those powers to be understood, into reelecting them.
So it would be a good idea to add 22A to the list of amendments that need to be repealed, 16 & 17A already on the list.
In the meanwhile, patriots need to finish the job that they started when they elected Trump president in 2016.
More specifically, patriots now need to be making sure that there are plenty of Trump-supporting, state sovereignty-respecting patriot candidates on the 2018 primary ballots, and pink-slip career lawmakers by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to DC on election day.
And until the states wake up and repeal 17A, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of Alabama's special Senate election, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud and associated MSM scare tactics.
Hacking Democracy - The Hack
Cult of personality voting will always work better for liberals.
democrats will sign on thinking the petition is a typo for the repeal of the 2nd amendment.
MAGA!
Count me out. I would like to see the minimum age requirement raised to 45. FTM I would like the minimum age for a congressman or senator to be over 30. Man it so that all politicians have a life in the private sector before running for office. And I would like several purple states to require a physical exam to document the health of any candidate as a condition for ballot access. It was ridiculuous that Hillary was getting thrown into a van like a sack of potatoes - and we were supposed to think that her health was normal.
If a candidate cannot walk two miles, or cannot climb two flights of stairs - or cannot be subject to a barrage of camera flashes, or look back and forth quickly from left to right without symptoms - the people have a right to know that.
And it shouldn't! Two terms are plenty, FDR shouldn't have had more than two, war or not.
Well, yeah, I am totally 110% opposed to the idea anyway, but I was merely pointing out that it is soooo unlikely to be realized that it is not one of the things worth debating and petitioning and working toward.
Oh I was agreeing with you, I was just a lot more emphatic than you. I think it’s scary that people who probably ridiculed and condemned Obama cultists for things like this fail to realize how they themselves are mirroring them.
I don’t like this because it’s great if it’s a President we like, but if we don’t like the President, it sucks. Imagine 3 terms of Obama.
No. We dont any lifetime POTUS’s.
If the 22nd Ammendment had been repealed, 0bama would still be POTUS.
Trump imitating President Xi? Fat chance.
I made it as a joke to send to liberals to drive them even more crazy. Bwaha ha ha ha ha
Stupid idea and in the words of my grandfather: "be careful what you wish for..."
Would you have enjoyed a third term of Obama?
Just no. Once you do that we get Obama forever. Just no. And to take it further, term limits on congress too.
Second that.
