You would have to work hard to be worse than the underpowered 1954 with its 6 cyl engine and a body that leaked like a sieve when it rained.

My brother had a ‘79. There were no improvements that I know of.

Cannot recall which years they were, but ones with the digital dash were a big hit with the "gold chain" crowd, as were the Dastun 280Z things. It was the disco era.

Appearance was everything, substance and performance, not so much.

Can’t tell you how much I agree. I had
a 1981. Biggest piece of junk I’ve ever
owned...and in my 63 years have owned
32 vehicles. That corvette was really
a piece of crap. The best of the bunch?
A 2014 Mustang GT...
