There comes a time when you have to do what you feel is right. For one West Richland woman, that meant taking an angle grinder and turning her AR-15 rifle into 22 pieces. Debbie Lentz on Monday destroyed her fuschia-and-black gun, which was a gift from her husband Tom about 10 years ago. Video of the dismantling, shot by her husband, went viral, catching the attention of CNN, Reuters and other international and local media outlets.
“I did not set out to get attention, but I’m glad it is,” Lentz said. “My aim was to support Mr. (Scott) Pappalardo, whose video I saw of him doing the same thing. (The gun) was fun to shoot and it was easy to shoot, but it’s not difficult to make it fully automatic and highly illegal."

Yes, you always wonder if the people who do this secretly think they might lose it and start shooting people. Either that or they are, like some have mentioned, virtue signaling. Whichever it is, I’m personally glad they don’t have access to a firearm, because as a liberal, they are more likely to actually lose it and start shooting people.
It does hurt to see the innocent AR-15 get murdered tho.

Maybe next time she will do that to her car because: "(The car) was fun to drive and it was easy to drive, but it’s not difficult to make it go too fast which is highly illegal."
I’ve noticed this is a thing with women who are not young. There is a woman in the building I work in who is probably in mid to late 30’s. She changes her cotton candy colored probably every week or two. Sometimes it’s a blend of multiple cotton candy pastels. The woman isn’t bad looking at all and if you can get past her hair. Unfortunately, her hair just screams “I’m with stupid” with the arrow pointing at herself.
I suspect she colors her hair.
And she’s a Seattle Seahawks fan.
So, what she did to that AR-15 is the third stupid thing she’s done that I see here.
And yes, I see farther down in this thread that you know her. That doesn’t change my opinion.
They do it for one reason. ATTENTION. It's a "Hey look a t me!!!" thing.
Most of us will never, ever, attain the lofty heights of spirituality, wisdom, love, self-sacrifice that she so easily and effortlessly scaled.
