Megan Boone hopes to blacklist assault rifles from her NBC show..
As the debate over gun control rages on in the United States — particularly following the recent mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., which claimed the lives of 17 students and faculty members — the star of The Blacklist, who was raised in Florida, tweeted this to her followers on Friday:

Blacklist fans had mixed responses to Boone’s tweet, with many arguing that she should be able to separate a work of fiction from what’s happening in the real world. And while Boone wasn’t able to address everyone’s response, she did reply to one fan asking why an FBI agent wouldn’t carry an assault rifle, explaining, “I am not SWAT.”
Many others, however, responded positively to Boone’s stand, some sharing responses from their own high school-aged children:

Liz Keen almost always favors a handgun, though on rare occasion she has wielded more firepower, such as an AK-47 in Season 2’s “The Kenyon Family.” James Spader’s Red, meanwhile, has never been averse to bringing out the big guns.
A spokesperson for the NBC series did not immediately to TVLine’s request for comment.

Great first season, but fell off sharply after that. I lost interest a long time ago. Might have considered catching up, but not now.
But their anti-Second-Amendment effort has been defeated again. If we Americans continue to do our part, even against incrementalism, the foreign-minded fascists will eventually lose their will to fight.

She had to get REAL ACTING LESSONS when James Spader through fits about her near-complete lack of acting chops.
She redid her hair.

Actually it’s a good TV show. James Spader plays a fugitive who manipulates the FIB’s playing his own version of 4-D chess.

I read here that she was at the first “Womens March.” I like the show, so I tried to avoid knowing more about that.

I know very little about actors, but through an old contact, I happened to learn about her, mostly because she is such a BAD ACTRESS.
I was a little upset to learn that Spader practically demanded that he be in as few scenes with her as possible at least by the start of season 2.
Don’t watch the show anymore. Last one I saw was predictable, and I thought, “Nah.”

She was always the worst part of the show. Maybe now they can get rid of her character. I know, she can refuse to pick up an ar and gets everyone killed as a result.

Not since the golden age of the Steven Seagal / Sylvester Stallone / Clint Eastwood / Charles Bronson vigilante flicks has a character gotten more sheer pleasure out of killing bad guys than Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) gets in this week’s return of The Blacklist.
Interesting that she didn’t have a problem with doing scenes like that back then. Maybe she’s just virtue signaling now.
