Am I correct in remembering that no school shooter has yet breached a locked door?
If you are correct, part of the reason is that the shooter doesn't want to be waste time breaching a door; he wants to move on to easier targets.
Shooters don’t need to get through doors when the kids are running around the school during lunch or between classes.

That's a very good question. Breaching a door, especially fire reinforced school doors, would be difficult. Reinforced entryways, vigilance with a robust security plan can minimize if not prevent outright an incident by substantially restricting movement. With an armed response, that helps substantially. From what I have observed, most attacks were carried out at the most vulnerable times, areas and especially when the teachers and student were essentially sitting ducks- just as liberals and school districts are perfectly fine with.
This shooter shot through the glass classroom windows in the door.
Remember though. someone set off the fire alarm so that kids would be in the halls like sitting ducks.
