I mow about four acres every week in the summer at my farm. Four years ago I bought a Gravely 50 inch zero turn with a 24 HP Kawazaki engine. Gravely advertises that they’re the oldest lawnmower maker in the USA. I’ve had no problems with mine.
If you want to have fun mowing the yard, get a zero turn. I had a 42 inch toro that did the job on my 2 acres. Needed a zero turn because there were lots of trees and shrubberies to maneuver around.
Also, BE ABSOLUTELY SURE that it has a beer holder.
I agree with you on Gravely Zero-turn. It will be the only brand I buy from here on out.
My daughter and son-in-law have a Gravely on their farm. They mow a couple of acres every week (sometimes twice). It zips all over the place - she makes it look so easy. I tried it and it was too much for me....but she goes around those trees like nothing.
