The future of technology is looking for more amazing than ever. Technology will continue to shape our lives in positive and negative ways and will be used by the good in the evil alike.
The thought of self-driving cars seems exciting, but could it come with unforeseen drawbacks? It seems like computers that think like humans are always right around the corner. Will it be here in 10 years?
Which possible future technology are you most excited for, and which do you fear the most?
Self driving cars.
VR and it’s cousin AR.
More and more people totally becoming inward and self gratifying.
Not to mention more and more people addicted to devices.
You know you are not in control if you can’t put down your devices for several days.
SunCell generator technology by Brilliant Light Power will change the world as we know it... clean, cheap, limitless energy brought to you by genius inventor Randell Mills will profoundly affect life on planet Earth.
I’m 70, so self-driving cars seem good to me for short trips around town. It would’ve seemed like a stupid idea to me 5 or 10 years ago, but now... not so much.
“are you most excited for, and which do you fear the most?”
Excited for High-Speed Trains. (These are long overdue in the US, and .... make them Free Enterprise Private Sector owned and managed. Get Rid of Amtrak , and the Gov. intervention.
Fear the Self Driving (autonomous) vehicles.... any software can be hacked. Results would be disastrous .
I’m a fan of fusion power.
I’m an enemy of automated vehicles - will be handing gov the ability to control your movements, such as, “someone set off a bomb, turn all cars off”. “We need more room for snowplows, turn all cars off”.

Sure, one speck of dust gets on a chip in your driverless car and it crashes you into a van full of little kids killing everyone.
Wireless electricity sound nice but the physics are a problem. That old E=MC/2 thingy.
Cant seem to find the right character for squared on this iPad thingy either!
You can keep your high speed trains. They’re talking about one between Dallas and Houston, TX. Just on paper right now it’s over $100 million so count on it being triple that amount by the time it’s finished. The selling point is it will be an hour and a half trip. Of course, that’s not including you still have to drive to the depot, park, get in line early and then you have to find transportation at your destination. By then the person who left home at the same time you did and opted to drive will have already arrived.
