"We're here because my daughter has no voice. She was murdered last week and she was taken from us, shot 9 times on the third floor. We as a country failed our children. This shouldn't happen."- Andrew Pollack, father of Meadow Pollack, who was killed in Florida school shooting last week.

There was a good reason that parents took their children to watch hangings back in the early Westward Expansion of North America.
Our justice system defines depriving murderers and rapists of Internet access CRUEL and UNUSUAL, but depriving a child from attending school because he pointed a pop tart at another child as OK.
Your #8; Excellent post.
I have found, in many years of combating the Leftist war on America, truth & reality, that it is often well to adopt the reasoning processes of those who won our liberty. They understood the dynamics of human interaction far better than most of our contemporaries. Washington clearly saw the long range benefits of the Swiss system--not just for the protection of communities, etc., but as a character building vehicle for raising our youth.
The contrast between real understanding & the gobbling of the Leftwing media is almost staggering--the difference between hysteria & wisdom.
the media cant seem to find any pro 2A citizens to interview.

Are you serious? I think you are confused about the agenda of the media.
Do you really think they would spend any effort to present the Second Amendment as part of the solution?
Very sad.
My biggest problem with volunteering for weekend mob duty is the probability of post-lynching retaliation by the official guardians of law’n’order. Guarantee me I’ll be back to work on Monday morning, unsought by any jurisdiction’s King’s men, and I’ll be there with bells on.
The LINCOLN trial didn’t net the lawyers very much taxpayer money.

I guess we agree when you say: Too late. Im already off the deep end.
And your signature tagline just makes me wonder even more.
The key is who defines what is cruel and unusual punishment. It is a very malleable term in the hands of unelected activist judges who do not answer to the people. Every few election cycles the people should be allowed to vote on what is cruel and unusual punishment.
And even worse that slimy defense lawyers define every type of punishment as "cruel and unusual."
This guy gets it. Too bad too many others don’t. They keep pointing fingers at the NRA and Trump. Where was their outrage when Newtown and Umpqua happened under Obama’s watch? I don’t remember him getting raked over the coals for those shootings.
“the media cant seem to find any pro 2A citizens to interview.”
Oh, they’re out there, but the media won’t interview them — except Fox.
There’s Colton Haab who thinks teachers should be armed. He was scheduled for the CNN Town Hall, but he wasn’t there because the CNN producer nixed his idea and told him what to say/ask. And there’s Ariana Klein — also re CNN Town Hall. Her dad spoke to the CNN producer and found out it was a “policy” show re gun control and would be scripted.
And some of the pro 2A people are ... well ... dead, so can’t do media interviews. They would’ve been interviewed but since they weren’t allowed to have guns at school, they used their bodies to protect kids instead.
Have you ever seen someone so quickly capture d and confess within hours??
Airport security is a farce. While you are stripped searched at the front door, the illegal aliens and terrorists work the ramp at the backdoor. It’s all to convince the feeble minded that the government is doing something.

Yes, time was, they would look the other way and wouldn’t see anything simply because the SOB needed killing. Not so sure the same attitude lives today.
Laws rushed into being are almost universal bad laws.
