It’s abundantly clear that a society as in Noah’s times, when “every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time” (Gen.6:5), is distinctly much worse than today’s, in which a billion-plus Spirit-indwelt Christians live. The times Jesus described are surely coming, but only after the church is raptured and the Holy Spirit withdraws from doing good and restraining evil.
IMHO we’re in the times like Noah as he talks about in Matthew 24 & Luke 17.
These verses specifically cite how evil and horrible the Tribulation will be. “Tribulation such as has not occured since the beginning of the world, until now, nor ever will”
Matthew 24:21-22
That includes “since the beginning of the world”, & Noah’s times.
I think you’re way off on the billion-plus Spirit indwelt Church. We’re probably looking at 2-5% of the entire world population if we’re honest, given the wholesale evil that has swallowed up even the “believing nations of the world”.
