ts en vogue for enraged liberals to compare Trumpism to Argentine Peronism, wielding the analogy as a warning about the potential apocalypse that they fear is about to engulf us. Most recently it was Larry Summers, a member of the Democratic establishment for decades, who took to Twitter to declare: I worry about the Argentinization of US government. Summers sent the tweet after President Trump accused Democrats of treason and the media reported on the presidents childish wishes for a military parade. He employed a standard characterization of Peronism as an authoritarian movement, a familiar depiction that no doubt had many Americans nodding along.

I am not worried about Trump becoming a dictator as much as I am worried about liberals wanting him to act as one
yes, democracy ahould be called Democratic Dictatorship
The same people who didn’t want congress to provide oversight of the executive branch for 8 years are worried that the executive branch can do anything it’s wants without the constitutionally provided checks and balances which prevent a US president from becoming a dictator.
It’s a sign that the Hitler reference is wearing thin.
Peron was a socialist and like always, socialism failed.
And surprisingly enough it is blue cities that are run like third world countries.

Had to add my personal touch to it.
The Peron’s borrowed everything that acquires power from the Marxists and the Fascists, and used it for themselves and against the nation of Argentina.
Argentina should have been a real powerhouse of South America. Peronism DESTROYED the democratic process in the country and infested the Argentine mentality with its (Peronista) disease. It is an infestation too much of the populace has never shook off, and it is why the nation has never recovered.
Then we have this idiota at the WashingtonCompost praising the Peronista mentality that has kept Argentina a basket case.
Peron admired Hitler and despised the British. He offered to align Argentina with Nazi Germany during WWII.
So comparing Trump to Peron is a backdoor way of comparing him to Hitler.
Hmm...it must have been leftover Peronismo that made the Argies invade Falklands in 1982. Too bad the British PM was Margaret Thatcher.
Larry Summers, who said publically, that the 2008 recession was due to a snow storm...he is brain dead.
