Not me. I’m getting to be as old as dirt. LOL

Still feeling a low voltage hum in the ribcage (especially if I breathe too deep), but the doc has me on 500 mg. of naproxen twice daily, so it's manageable. Kept one hydrocodone in reserve to split in half in case I do something stupid and strain it before it fully heals. What stinks on ice is that the weather this weekend was very nice. Mid 70's and sunny, despite the weather forecast to the contrary. I got a new casting rig and several new topwater lures and crankbaits I wanted to go workout at West Point Lake, or at least the pier at the county lake, but I'll guarantee you I would do something stupid and need that pill. LOL It's always a matter of, 'That last cast wasn't quite as far as I wanted it'. Next weekend, maybe.

I’ll behave. My brain keeps thinking I’m still 25. The first words out of my doc’s mouth was that I’m starting to get too old to try doing stuff I used to at that age. I gotta learn to pace myself a little, especially given the unrelated issues my body has been having. From the neck up, I tell myself, “I’m 55, going on 26.” From the neck down, my body is saying, “You’re 55, going on 80. Dial it back a notch, will ya? You’re killin’ us!” LOL
