Why do you think the Russians could be on the right track by prohibiting weapons that shoot in bursts or have more than a 10 round capacity?
In answer to your question, IMO it goes back to securing the 2nd Amendment. There should be NO INFRINGEMENT!! Once started, they will keep chipping away until we are restricted to sling shots and knives. We do not need a full auto AK or AR to hunt deer, but we they are real nice gadgets to have in case the likes of Hitlery get in power.
It’s not about guns, its about our culture drifting ever leftwards creating more criminals, school shooting nut jobs and violent gangs. This alone is reason to own something with a little firepower.

Good. I personally do not own a gun because I don’t live in a high crime area. If I did, yes I would own a gun. As far as owning a full auto weapon they should only be in the hands of responsible people with proper training, proper background investigation, and with follow up checks. A limit should also be placed on the number of guns that one may own unless you are a collector or dealer.
