1. Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Jeb Bush
2. Dershowitz, Camille Paglia
3. Ted Cruz, Glenn Beck
Keep in mind the folks behind Door #2 are pro-abortionists ( a "right" that isn't explicitly in the Constitution) and Dershowitz is a rabid anti-gun abolitionist (and the 2nd Amendment is IN the Constitution).
I know you can't always get what you want: the Soviets were our allies in WWII and some vile creatures walked alongside (crashed the party of?) honorable Deplorables at Free Speech rallies last year.
But my point is that Dershowitz, while seeming to be on the MAGA train, won't likely support overturning Roe vs. Wade but wishes the Second Amendment had never come about. He could likely "go rouge" at any moment. I like him in theory but he should be treated with caution, IMHO.
i may be becoming an olde curmugeon crank but
i would not want any of the people on your list (I don’t know who Paglia is so no comment on that one)
I respect Dershovitz for his honesty and intellectual brilliance, but would never put him on the court... for the reasons you state.
The others I have lost almost all respect for...I wish they’d get the H our of politics ASAP!
