Not trying to badger you Red Bader but you did say you found out the child had just been adopted from Romania, right? If that's so, the child was justifiably scared. Who knows what she/he had been through up to that point and leaving their familiar surroundings and getting onto a plane. Holy cow. I'd be crying, too.
