I saw him in concert with Bonnie Raitt many years ago. I had such a crush on him for so long. First song of his I fell in love with was “Two More Bottles of Wine.”
I’ve got too many, I’m sure, to list. I could go on for too long.
But here is some pretty instrumental music
I found last night by Polish composer Wojciech Kilar (RIP):

Here is another one of my favorite love songs. I don’t have a separate link for it, but it’s on our album page. The song is called, “Next To Me.” It’s a true love song.

Artistic license you know
Thanks again!
I will always remember the echo of my sainted mum whistling “Always” late at night, after bed, after my father had died.
Boy, could she whistle.
I know the song, sung by who? Javier Solis? I guess Agustin Lara wrote it, his version is good too.
“Time in a Bottle” by Jim Croce always chokes me up.
“You’re Breaking My Heart” by Harry Nilsson pretty much covers my thoughts on the subject.
I didn’t provide a link because I know some here would be offended by the lyrics.
Humbug.
Elton John - Kiki Dee - Don’t go breaking my heart
Carpenters - Close to you
Neil Young - Tell Me Why
I’ll just try those 3.
That’s a good one.
And Gordon Lightfoot’s song
If You Could Read My Mind
is beautiful and sad.
I used to read the NY Post locally, ah my younger days...
Nat King Cole...
