If Snowden is a CIA agent and did this, meaning hacking from the Russian side and being a double agent, the CIA most likely promised him a big pay off when Hillary won, a pardon, and a way to get out of Russia. He probably could’ve retired to an island paradise or something. And the Feds would say they wouldn’t want to go after him because he was just trying to deliver “freedom to the people.” That whole scenario fell apart and exploded when Trump actually won. Now he’s stuck in Russia. And his friends are being eliminated.
