More significanlty and relevant Barlow became a political activist, mostly Rebublican, (he went other side a few times) and became a champion of an open internet and open information.

Barlow was one of the founders and Chairman of EFF - Freedom of the Press Foundation of which Edward Snowden served on the Board of Directors.

Thanks for posting that. . . I was going to since Corlorde disparages Barlow as just some musician, and in a previous thread implied that Q was merely predicting the deaths of prominent people by posting numerous names and then crowing when chance resulted in one dying, ignoring the inconvenient fact that Q doesn't post numerous names at all. . . but I was not going to engage trolls.

However, I did want to point out the EFF is properly the Electronic Frontiers Foundation, not the Freedom of the Press Foundation, although both were co-founded by Barlow, they are two entirely different organizations.

Thank you for sharing that distinction. I thought I was reading it wrong and just skipped over it. Makes more sense now.
