Hmm, perhaps a bit of cross purposes...or understandings. Thread drift but... when I think “immortal” I consider only the eternal soul which animates the physical body.

I guess crazed and evil lunatics might try to make the earthly body live forever; of course failing miserably.

If they are trying to do that, they are entirely delusional.

You can try to make things true by imagining that they are so; and sometimes it works out.

But if you are trying to do it against the laws of Love, Right, Balance - it's going to smack you back *BIGLY*.
