IMHO (always VERY humble...) B.Pharma colludes to keep prices through the roof, and drags feet about new drugs, and puts and keeps dangerous drugs on the market when they shouldn’t.... and also fights hard to keep any “natural” or “alternative” remedies/cures out of the way or illegal.

I am convinced of the above due to years of looking at the situation.

BTW I am an herbalist. And I don’t hate all modern medicine or anything of the sort.

I just know competition. When people collude to do anything that collects a profit...somebody breaks rank to beat the others to the money.

BTW, I too am suspicious of modern medicine.

That said, I have been an investor (quite successfully) in the biotech industry. Players in that industry are incapable of forming a cartel...too much money involved.

I no longer invest in that industry because of the problems they face in pricing the solutions to the market (e.g. Gideon and its problems with Solvaldi/Harvoni...great product, but pricing problems kill its potential).

Totally off topic - but had to respond to the herbalist subject - I will definitely try natural remedies for minor things first, like, for instance, Vit. C or usnea for upper respiratory or cold issues.

(Like you, I don’t hate modern medicine.)
