In the Pharma world, competition is everything.
It would be impossible for all the scientists to collude without one breaking rank.
Medical solutions do not move up a linear path. They are complicated with many side effects.
Competition is insane because the profits are insane.
IMHO (always VERY humble...) B.Pharma colludes to keep prices through the roof, and drags feet about new drugs, and puts and keeps dangerous drugs on the market when they shouldn’t.... and also fights hard to keep any “natural” or “alternative” remedies/cures out of the way or illegal.
I am convinced of the above due to years of looking at the situation.
BTW I am an herbalist. And I don’t hate all modern medicine or anything of the sort.
