Not in Idaho. A couple of years ago Canadian Wolves were introduced into Idaho to replace the depleted number of "Endangered Gray Wolves". The new wolf population has increased at an alarming rate, depleting deer and elk herds dramatically. Hunting them is now legal and tags are only $11.

A step in the right direction but not far enough. The government should be paying us a bounty for getting rid of this vermin, rather having us pay for tags (with limits, seasons, and hunting regulations). As several have stated before, we're learning why our forefathers got rid of wolves. Mackenzie valley wolves should have the same protection as a Norwegian brown rat - both are invasive species.
Ship the meat to Obama.
