OR, spread the rumor that they are the main cause of climate change/global warming.
Cali will put a bounty on them.

Can anyone explain to me why these guys arent being protected as the endangered species they obviously are? Seems to me that at a minimum all dykes, levees and roadways in Fresno and Stanislaus Counties need to be declared critical habitat and humans should be prosecuted for any interference with natural conditions there!
Also, water should be diverted from human activities (farming, drinking, bathing) to insure these adorable critters can enjoy a habitat suitable to their nature. I would suggest the Hetchhetchey reservoir be selected as the source for this.

Theres only one solutionintroduce Burmese pythons and Boa Constrictors. If that doesnt work, they could always try Black Mambas. Why wouldn't .223 in a 30rd mag work, except for being California.
On a personal note, snake skin boots work for me.

“Endangered species” have to be native to the area——these rodents aren’t.

Time for a re-make of Kevin Bacon’s “Tremors” movie, circa 1990

Just wait until they mutate.
I’m not really concerned, hell we already have the Castro brothers.

Nutria are a major pest in Louisiana, digging into levees and damaging sugarcane and rice crops. In Maryland, they destroyed marshland essential for the marine productivity of the Chesapeake. A comprehensive program of trapping is now near to eradicating them.

That is why God gave us the .22 revolver.

Nice fur, edible. With global cooling, those California vegans will want those warm coats.
