Couldn’t agree more. Freedom comes at a price. Pay it willingly.
I just turned 60 and am now in the home stretch as one of that rare breed — the lifelong straight bachelor.
And nobody has ever accused me of being a misogynist. I treat women very properly. As in, what part of “watch your language and keep your hands to yourself” don’t you understand?
We live in times of great moral confusion, with foolish, entitled people looking to their emotions for guidance, instead of the Lord’s word.
I know nothing I can do will change matters one iota. But I can at least remain detached from all the chaos that surrounds me.
Dude, thats amazing!
These days misogynist means any guy that wont agree with a womans right to define anything however she likes!
After 9 years of hum hahing about getting married my GF tackled me in the living room and said: “Go pack your bags, we are going to Vegas and an Elvis impersonator is going to marry us.” Was the middle of summer. Vegas was 112 to 118 in the shade. Was a blast. Toured every casino in Vegas by ourselves. Did not gamble a dime. Observed the sounds are Pavlovian training. The helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon was fun, as was the tour of the inside of the Hoover Dam.
As we got on the plane home she turned to me and said, “lets never come back to this God forsaken sh!thole again.” I got lucky. I got a keeper.
Come on! There have got to be some extenuating aggravating circumstances here you aren't mentioning!
Disfiguring skin condition? Extreme obesity? Still living with Mom?
Regards,
