For the 3rd straight Winter Games, cross-country skier Tucker Murphy is Bermuda's only athlete. No matter the season, Bermuda athletes usually wear their trademark shorts during Opening Ceremonies.

Bermudians have ALWAYS worn knee socks with those shorts; it's really part of the whole image...like the special shoes ( gillies ) and socks and sporrans go with the wearing of a kilt.
And those who don't go whole hog with the "unikform" are the ones who are wrong!

I once watched a long video of some guy climbing a a mountain face somewhere, adding commentary all the way up.
While it looked extremely hard and dangerous, it made you forget about the guy climbing with him who has to carry all the camera equipment and do the video recording........LOL!
