Many people on these threads, on Freerepublic in general, and in life on this earth have different opinions from me. That is the purpose and the fun of life and these threads. We, with our different perspectives, opinions, ways of thinking, and knowledge bases, come here to share our opinions hoping to reach a consensus. Those with different opinions are not disruptors. Disruptors are disruptors.

You and I both know that MANY people come on these threads and go well beyond "merely questioning". Go read this last guys posts and tell me he was "merely questioning". Most are far worse. People who "merely question" are treated quite well, as has been my observation. Those who are determined to take the thread off topic and insult and argue, are the very definition of "disruptors".

Again, you have me figured wrong. I'll tell you what I want. I want these threads to be free of flame wars, insults, fighting, and arguing. Many threads, due to disruptors, become fifty percent on topic discussion and fifty percent fighting.
It discourages many people from participating. Why would I want that, seeing as how my most fervent desire is to see all of FreeRepublic rise up together in strength and numbers and support our President and our Country. You seem to be telling me that I don't want that and I want us to be separate. No. Quite the opposite, goodman.
People who present alternate thoughts about all of this in a polite way are not ‘trolls’.
You are absolutely right. But what about people who present alternate thoughts in a rude and disrespectful way? Are they trolls? Are insults alternative thoughts?
You may not have read these threads and missed it. There are plenty of people who come in here insulting. They seek to get these threads shut down because they feel they are defending the hnor of FR. I know this, because they have said this.
You really can't mean that you think we just are a bunch of A-holes holding some kinda cult meeting and feeling superior to innocent seekers of truth. BTW we are called cultists or Qultists on a daily basis by innocent travelers.

"With all due respect" is a crossover gung fu style. It can be used to soften a blunt point, and let the reader know that my message, though harsh in appearance, was not intended to be so.
It can also be used before or after saying something that IS intentionally insulting and when the insultee complains, you say, "But I said with all due respect." Stole that from some comedian or movie, I forget which.
My gung fu is both lethal and moolti faceted.

I personally welcome disbelievers or those questioning to these threads if they post questions based on logic and a close reading of the Q postings. Unfortunately, most that were coming here the simply posted ridicule with no critical thinking.
