LOL!.....Gotta love those Russian scientists!........Back in the 80’s, when the Soviet Union was still around, they arrested a group of scientists for using Top Secret and expensive stealth Radar absorptive paint on their cars to avoid speeding tickets!...............

Back in the 70`s a bunch of scientists, working at a National Research laboratory, programmed a massive computer, used to predict nuclear experiment outcomes, to predict odds and beat the Vegas house. They won a lot. They quit their jobs & retired.

Not for mining bitcoins, but for using one of Russia’s most powerful supercomputers to mine Bitcoins. Not the same thing.
