I always hate when people blame a suicide on a particular person or situation. People who commit suicide are clinically depressed. The suicide has little to do with the fact that someone said something mean about them or that they got some bad publicity. Those things may have been the triggers, but if they weren’t, something else would have been.

If she knew or should have known that she was putting a girl in danger, then guilt is appropriate. The correct solution, however, is to atone by devoting the remainder of her life to protecting the innocent, not to end that life.
