A GREAT gun—iffen you go for the 9mm, that is.
Great single action pistol. JMB never wanted the grip safety on the 1911. This is basically what he wanted the 1911 to be except for the caliber. Recent years it was available in 40s&w too. That would be the caliber I would get. Till then Ill just have to play with my 1911a1 Remington Rand in .45acp. And all the other handguns I took on the canoe.
A pity, but the CZ75 is much better. Friend of mine bought one (HP) and brought it to the range. The magazine safety and its effect on the trigger pull (extreme grittiness) were very annoying.
Another friend bought a CZ. All three of us have CZ’s now.
A great gun but I have a strong preference for the late 60’s and early 70’s models. Very good bluing and wood grips coupled with typical Browning reliability and accuracy.
