New allegations against Scott Baio surfaced Wednesday from another one of his Charles in Charge costars: Alexander Polinsky.
Polinsky, 43, provided a statement to The Talk which was read out while Nicole Eggert was on the show to talk about her sexual abuse allegations against the actor.
Eggert said on the show that Polinsky, who played Adam Powell on Charles in Charge, went with her to file to the police station when she filed a report against Baio and Polinsky also made his own police report supporting her allegations.
In addition to supporting the actress’ claims, Polinsky alleged he was physically abused by Baio, 57.
His longtime friend and The Talk host Sara Gilbert became emotional reading his statement on his behalf, explaining, “He’s actually a dear friend of mine.”
“Working on the set of Charles in Charge from age 11 to 15 was no picnic, it was a toxic environment,” Polinsky said in the statement. “I witnessed Scott Baio acting inappropriately towards Nicole Eggert during my first year of working on the show. I walked in on them together behind the set. Nicole was on Scott’s lap and he did not appreciate my intrusion. He yelled at me and called me various homophobic slurs.”

Apparently, Eggert is not getting enough traction with her hysterical accusations, so now they tag team a second whiner who has always disliked Baio anyway.
The problem here is that they let this guy live downstairs, and they treated him like one of the family, and put him in charge of their days and their nights, and even put him in charges of their wrongs and their rights. It was too much! As Lord Acton said, power corrupts.
I am sure a lot of it is true. He very well might have been a jerk in his 20’s. Because he’s great now doesn’t mean he always was. I find that hard to believe that some don’t get that. The only problem I have with these stories is why they come out so late. Many believed Cosby at first....well not many now.

This actor was 10 to 16 years old when CIC was running. The “homophobic” slur accusation sounds a little suspicious, depending on when this was supposed to have happened.
The left wing media will stop at nothing to discredit and humiliate Trump supporters. It is almost impossible to know whether these events which are purported to have taken place over 30 years ago have any basis in reality.
Yeah - polinsky already made his attack early on and Baio responded to both charges. People here is drumming it up again as “new” so they crab play association along with Wynn and Trumps board member.
The show first aired in 1984. I seriously doubt any adult would be using homophobic slurs against a child. I also seriously doubt the child in question was “gay” at that point in his life.
I was 14 in 1984 and I can tell you that EVERYONE called people “gay” as a ultimate put down. Homosexuality was very taboo and very much in the closet back then. The idea that a child was out and proud is utterly ridiculous.
None of that means Scott Baio is a good person. I have heard him speak a couple times and he sounds like a jerk. But that doesnt mean he was a child molester. This is obvious Alinsky tactics to silence and hurt economically someone with whom they disagree. It is also likely a desperate attempt to garner a few more minutes in the spotlight and possibly reignite a has been b or c grade career.
Even white men are innocent until proven guilty.

Eggert sure wasn't ashamed of flaunting her goods on Bay Watch every week. Her star sure did fall in recent years. She's operating an ice cream truck. No wonder she needs the publicity.
