BINGO!! They are no longer suitable role models for America’s youth and because of that, they no longer should be eligible for such a high & distinguished honor.

Good! The idea that government has to put its seal of approval and give its blessing to everything is creepy, dangerous and blasphemous. If you win a championship, you do not need a trip to Washington to be validated.
I disagree. He should invite them, then make sure that the pictures of who does show up end up as GOP campaign literature. Let the rest of the public who thinks the NFL is some demi-god see what a bunch of anti-American, overpaid, selfish children are "winners".

IF...this is true, Trump should beat them to the punch and say no NFL (or NBA team) team will be invited to the WH as long as he is POTUS.

The would make the NFL an arm of the establishment. Right now the MSM, FBI, IRS, CIA, and Justice Department appear to be other arms of the establishment.

Another social/civil society event that has been marred by leftist politics - like the Academy Awards, the NFL, your local school board meeting, the annual press club dinner
