I know some of you think this is silly but in my professional life the part about Pharma, nutrition and more in this post are extremely relevant. The FDA and CDC have been compromised by the Pharma industry as well as others. Scoff if you like but this one hits home and I research for a living
Agreed. I made a career change to help assist my wife's research into a couple rare genetic neurological disorders. I'm up to my neck in it now. It has been another type of red pill moment.
Modern medicine is about symptoms and not systems. Everything is about the magic pill of dubious efficacy. Eminence trumps evidence.
In all fairness, we derailed decades ago. Decades ago, the method of corruption was established by the likes of Proctor & Gamble, Ancel Keys, and the American Heart Association.

Look it up, it began in earnest in the early 1900s when Carnegie and others began seeding the Universities with big cash to do “research” in an area that had been Homeopathic and natural for centuries
Better living through Chemistry, it is sick and perverted and I am working to take it down
Hard!
I have so much evidence of all of this at any level you want to converse in, they cause more illness than they cure
As Hippocrates said
Make Food your Medicine, and Medicine as your food
I know it sounds like The Hipster was promoting Pharma but what he is really saying is eat healthy and you will be healthy
And yes this is the same one for whom the Hippocratic Oath Doctors are supposed to swear to is named after

Ancel Keys ruined more people's lives than Mao or Stalin, to my mind.
