I am absolutely floored by the depiction of what happened that is being given in this miniseries. As a kid in high school, I remember this happening. I even live in Texas. I remember watching the news conferences and even watched it burn live on t.v. I am not naive enough to believe the official ATF accounts, but holy cow. The portrayal of the raid is absolutely BRUTAL in showing how the ATF attacked without provocation. I literally cannot believe that the Hollywierd types allowed this to be produced in this way, since they love to lump all religious people (except moslems, of course) as a bunch of gun crazy fanatics.
That's just not done.
Democrat presidents are good, dontcha know...
Thanks, I just added it to my watch list.
Wednesday’s episode makes the FBI look like a bunch of sadistic and authoritarian jackboots.
The one man’s comments about how law enforcement is “five thousand to one” against the people and that they only control us through fear outraged me.
I imagine next Wednesday we’ll be treated to scenes of the FBI popping champagne as people burn to death.
The entire series has been extremely unflattering to the FBI, right at a time when they are getting bad publicity for bungling the school shooter investigation. Koresh was blameless either. The whole situation could have ended much better.

I am just watching it on my DVR.
I am amazed how we were lied to.
IIRC, GHWB was the one who quit his lifetime NRA membership because some NRA person called the ATF/FBI jack booted thugs. Bush PRESIDED over the Ruby Ridge fiasco.
Did any heads roll in FBI or ATF after all was said and done.
