Learned to sign the song “Someone Like You.” Did research on the impact on pre-natal stress and adrenal androgens as it relates to neural pathways of the unborn child’s Brian. My daughter is suffering from depression and gender identity disorder, so I’m trying to understand how, why, and how to help her.

I watched the opening to see if there were kneelers. The Patriots seemed to be virtue signaling by placing one hand on heart and the other on a teammate.
There is only one way to respect the flag alone during the anthem which is standing with one hand on heart and the other at your side. Big fail for the Patriots in my opinion.

I’ve been depressed lately, so I went to youtube and watched videos of people driving through Mobile and the Alabama Gulf Coast. Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Dauphin Island, The Battlefield Causeway, Mobile Bay Tunnel and the infamous W.K.P. Wilson Bridge or, as the locals call it, The Dolly Parton Bridge.
If I can’t be on the Gulf Coast, this is the next best thing.

One of the greatest super bowls ever! Glad I didn’t miss it.

If you had a moment of weakness and watched the game, you can also confess here.
I tuned in after halftime. Exciting game, but not a great game - no defense to speak of, but exactly what the NFL was probably hoping for. The Eagles learned from Kyle Shanahan's mistake last year and never took their foot off the gas - they kept their play-calling aggressive and won as a result.
I can't help but marvel at how good Brady was even as his team lost - that was a 40 year old man out there throwing for over 500 yards in a Super Bowl. Not a fan of NE or Brady, but impossible not to respect how good he is.

Ate supper while I watched a couple of episodes of a series on Netflix, then switched to view some British programs I downloaded a while back: Great American Railway Journeys with Michael Portillo...season 2. To show you how far behind I am in watching these programs, Season 3 of this series is airing in the UK now. Each season is 20, half-hour episodes. Portillo has also done the Great British Railway Journeys series, and Great Continental Railway Journeys...and I’ve watched them all so far.

I read.
It’s what I normally do.
Haven’t owned a television since March of ‘95.
I like football okay when I play it, but not much at all just to watch unless it’s snowing so hard the players can hardly see.
